For most users, your account being created for Office of Research (OR) applications should happen within a day or so of your hire date. Information is provided via Workday to OR systems on a nightly basis. Guest accounts can potentially take an extra day or two depending on the current approval status of this account.
To verify your account has been created, you may visit https://go.osu.edu/researchprofile to see your current information. This application will also let you perform a few other functions if they are allowed for your account.
Register with eProtocol
To register with eProtocol, you must sign an additional agreement form for an account to be created within this system. Use the 'eProtocol Registration' tab just below the main header to complete this form and create your eProtocol account. You may then verify it is working correctly by visiting eProtocol at https://eprotocol.osu.edu.
Change your preferred email address
If you have multiple email addresses listed in Workday or Student Information Services, then you may change your preferred contact email address for all OR applications using the 'Edit Profile' tab just below the main header. Only specific domains are allowed to be selected, which are typically restricted to only those that are an official university or medical center email, or an organization that the university has a partnership with.
Update your information (guest accounts only)
If your information was not provided from Workday or Student Information Services, then you may update your contact information using the 'Edit Profile' tab just below the main header.
