Maintenance Windows
Posted by Marne Weinberger on 15 February 2022 08:45 AM

To better serve our users, the Office of Research information Systems has established designated maintenance windows. These windows represent defined periods of time during which planned maintenance, upgrades and changes to research enterprise services and systems may occur.

During these maintenance windows some applications, systems and networks may be intermittent or unavailable. The windows occur at times when customer usage is low, making it easier to prepare for possible disruptions or changes. Disruptions to service that are expected to last more than the scheduled window will be communicated in advance. These hours may be adjusted as needed based on stakeholder feedback, deadlines, or other requirements.

Workday Data Maintenance Window
Daily 5 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Core Application and Network Maintenance Window
Tuesday 7:00 p.m – Midnight
Thursday 7:00 p.m – Midnight

Emergency Exceptions
Urgent maintenance or changes having a major negative impact on applications, systems, and networks may occur outside defined maintenance windows as needed.
