Local Administrative Privileges Policy Default Administrative Privilege Assignments Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) staff
All other staff Request Process Users request administrative privileges by having his or her supervisor contact the ORIS Help Desk at orhelpdesk@osu.edu with answers to these two questions:
Role Duration Due to the evolving nature of technology and the changing roles of users at the university all local administrative accounts will be reviewed on an annual basis with an employee’s supervisor. If the administrative role is no longer deemed necessary, the permissions will be revoked. Further, if a user with local administrative privileges has unauthorized programs or regular virus/malware issues, administrator access will be removed. | |
